{"id":873,"date":"2018-04-22T14:56:45","date_gmt":"2018-04-22T12:56:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.videospotting.org\/eng\/?p=873"},"modified":"2018-06-20T16:44:10","modified_gmt":"2018-06-20T14:44:10","slug":"christopher-krause-faces-structures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.videospotting.org\/eng\/archives\/873","title":{"rendered":"Christopher Krause: Faces + Structures"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Performative lecture as curated video program<br \/>\n<strong>Wednesday, 25 April 2018, at 8pm<\/strong><br \/>\nProject Room SCCA, Metelkova 6, Ljubljana<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.scca-ljubljana.si\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/FacesStructures-image.jpg\" alt=\"Christopher Krause: Obraz + strukture\" width=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The performative lecture <a href=\"http:\/\/www.videospotting.org\/eng\/texts\/faces-and-structures\"><strong>Faces + Structures<\/strong><\/a> by German performer, dramaturgue and theorist <strong>Christopher Krause<\/strong>, was based on the reserach of DIVA Station video archive.<\/p>\n<p>Video art by itself historically implicates a kind of crossover between the logic of the artistic image and the image of mass media. <em>Faces + Structures<\/em> tries to actualize this artistic aprproach by addresseing the fundamental split of the gaze in somebody who watches: the spectator\/artist; and something that is watched: the artwork.
